The five supplies you actually need to submit a card
Before a card goes to the grader, the prep is the same at PSA and CGC: slide it into a soft penny sleeve, then into a semi-rigid card saver (not a hard toploader — those can scuff the surface as the card slides in). Many collectors then add a small tab of painter's tape across the top of the saver so the card can't slide out; this is a common collector best-practice, not an official requirement from either grader. Finally, group savers into resealable team bags and ship flat in a padded box.

- Net calculator is pure arithmetic on your inputs:
net = sale − (sale × FVF%) − per-order fee − shipping − grading cost. The default 13.25% + $0.40 reflects eBay's typical Trading Cards category rate at time of writing — verify against your current eBay fee schedule. - Grading-cost defaults (PSA ~$25, CGC ~$20, BGS ~$30) are illustrative entry-level tiers — real cost depends on tier, turnaround, declared value, and shipping both ways. Edit to match your submission.
