How we rank
Tier placement is a weighted call across five criteria. We re-evaluate each set release and at the end of every month.
The tiers
The decks shaping every matchup. Bring a counter-plan or expect to lose Game 1.
A clear step below S, but absolutely winning events in the right hands. Pick from this row if you want to play your way.
Solid decks that beat the rest of B and split with A on a good day. Great for locals and online ladder.
Need a specific meta or a specialist pilot to compete. Fun, brewable, but not what we'd register for a $5k.
Movers since last update
- Amethyst/Ruby ▲ jumps from A to S — the bounce-and-burn lines got a meaningful boost from recent printings.
- Sapphire/Steel ▲ moves up inside A as item-lock builds get more consistent.
- Ruby/Sapphire ▼ drops a tier; the field is faster than it can clock.
